Understanding the Difference Between Level Access Showers and Wet Rooms

While level access showers and wet rooms might appear similar, they have unique features. A level access shower includes a designated shower area with a minimal lip (10mm or less) to contain water within the shower space. In contrast, a wet room is a completely waterproofed room with a floor that slopes gently towards a drain, allowing the entire room to function as the shower area.

Although a wet room is a type of level access shower, it offers a more open and spacious environment. However, installing a wet room may require more extensive structural modifications. The choice between the two depends on your specific needs, preferences, and the layout of your bathroom.

Future-Proofing Your Home

Our expert team is committed to providing top-quality products and valuable advice, ensuring you make informed decisions that suit your individual requirements. Investing in a wet room not only supports your current needs but also accommodates future accessibility requirements, ensuring your home remains a safe, stylish, and comfortable space.
